Guilin Coninst --A company with the longest history in the field of contact materials in China 
，In 1956,Beijing Electrical Equipment Scientific Academy was founded, directly under the leadership of the Ministry of No.1 Machine-Building Industry of China , which is the first in China to start to make research and development of contact materials.
，In 1970, Beijing Electrical Equipment Scientific Academy moved to Guilin , and Guilin Electrical Equipment Scientific Research Institute (GLESI) was founded, directly under the leadership of the Ministry of No.1 Machine-Building Industry of China . The whole electrical material department moved to Guilin as it was with the alloy material group.
，In 1985, introduced low-voltage contact manufacturing technology from Europe .
，In 1988, developed dry-type unsaturated polyester molding compounds.
，In 1992, established a production line for producing polyester moulding compounds in large scale.
，In 2002, Guilin Coninst Electrical & Electronic Material Co., Ltd. was founded based on the personnel and assets of GLESI involving low-voltage contact materials, high-voltage contact materials, vacuum contact materials, magnetic materials, moulding compounds and insulating materials.
，In 2003, Guilin Coninst Electrical & Electronic Material Co., Ltd. passed the certification for high new-tech enterprises, gained the ISO9001:2000 certificate, and had the Postdoctoral Station settled in the company.
，In 2004, introduced techniques for manufacturing low-voltage contacts from Europe again.
，In 2005, Guangxi Electrical Materials Engineering & Technology Research Center was set up in Guilin Coninst Electrical & Electronic Material Co., Ltd.
，In 2008, Coninst received the GB/T24001-2004 idt ISO 140012004 Environmental Management System Certification.
，In 2010 (August), it Rename as Guilin Electrical Equipment Scientific Research Institute.
，In 2013 (January), Guilin Electrical Equipment Scientific Research Institute restructuring into a Limited Liability Company which holding by SINOMACH, with the name Guilin Electrical Equipment Scientific Research Institute Co., Ltd.
，In 2017, Guilin Coninst moved its low-voltage contact production to the new plant located in Yingcai Science & Technology Park of Guilin High-Tech Development Zone.
